Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Foundational Multivitamin, Omega-3, Daily Probiotic, Vitamin D, Olive Leaf Extract
Carielle grew up in the Midwest where she fell in love with the four seasons and Lake Michigan. Historically a picky eater, she ran into some health complications toward the end of high school which is what first sparked her interest in nutrition. She longed to understand the root of her issues and wanted to address them with natural alternatives to medication. She worked with a naturopathic doctor to make some major lifestyle changes, and soon experienced the magic of good nutrition.
Carielle pursued her new-found love for nutrition and went on to Michigan State University to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. After graduation, she worked in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at a Children’s Hospital near her home town. Here, Carielle became deeply passionate about clinical nutrition and was assured that a career in nutrition was what she was meant to do.
She went on to attend Grand Valley University to work toward her Master of Science in Clinical Dietetics and completed her dietetic internship to earn her Registered Dietitian credential. She gained over 1,200 hours of clinical experience counseling patients and clients using evidence-based research and tools to treat disease and promote health and wellbeing.
Prior to joining Persona, Carielle worked in Research & Development as a Nutritionist for one of the world’s leading baby food businesses. Here, she provided her expertise to guide nutritionally adequate product innovation for infants and toddlers around the world. Her love for pediatric nutrition remains as well as her passion for research and product innovation.
Carielle joined the team in January 2020 and is very excited to merge her clinical and product experience as a Nutritionist at Persona. In her free time, Carielle spends time with her boyfriend and their Golden Retriever, Finley. She loves exploring new restaurants with her friends and family, cozy movie nights in, and trying out new local fitness group classes.
